According to Wikipedia, a killer app is defined as, “Any computer program or software that is so necessary or desirable that it proves the core value of some larger technology”

With every new technology, there becomes a need for a “killer app” to prove its worth:

• In 1979, VisiCorp released VisiCalc, the world’s first spreadsheet application that helped introduce the personal computer to the department level of large and small businesses.
• In 1993, the first ever web browser, Mosaic was released, making the difficult-to-navigate World Wide Web more accessible to individuals and companies by tenfold
• In 2022, there is still no killer app that has proven the full benefits of Blockchain technology to the “outside world”…
